- The holding of the Forum, in the Palais de l'Europe, of a seminar under the auspices of
the Secretary General of the Council of Europe on the theme of an
evaluation of the rule of law and democratic transition in former
Yugoslavia.
- The development of European studies in Yugoslavia.
- Another seminar to be held by the Forum in due course to look at the
development of democratic paths in other regions.
- A seminar for Israelis and Palestinians, with European participation, on
the theme "Justice and Reconciliation" and development of
confidence- building measures like common revision of history textbooks in
the Middle East or translation into Hebrew and Arabic of Council of Europe
material relating to human rights.
- Colloquy (held on 24/25 April 2003) on New global challenges for human
rights and democracy (Council of Europe).
- Seminar for business leaders on "Business, human rights and globalisation".
- Seminars on updating the transatlantic relationship after 11th
September 2001.- Europe, globalisation, democracy;
- The Middle East, Israel, Europe, United States;
- Europe and the United States in the face of enlargement and the new
